Errol Flynn Slept Here co-author Michael Mazzone speaks about Errol Flynn and Mulholland Farm before a packed house at the Hollywood Heritage Museum.
A standing-room only sellout crowd packed the Hollywood Heritage Museum in Hollywood for an evening program about Errol Flynn. Located across the street from the Hollywood Bowl and about two miles from the site of Mulholland Farm, the Hollywood Heritage Museum is housed in the historic Lasky-DeMille Barn, where the 1913 production of The Squaw Man made this site the first indoor studio in motion picture history. The building was made a California Historic Landmark in 1956.
The Errol Flynn evening at the museum kicked off with a presentation by noted author and film historian Marc Wanamaker discussing Flynn's life and career. Then Robert Matzen and Michael Mazzone, co-authors of ERROL FLYNN SLEPT HERE , discussed Flynn's life at Mulholland Farm, his dream home on Mulholland Drive.
Googie's author Steve Hayes, Errol Flynn Slept Here co-author Robert Matzen, independent filmmaker Jack Marino, and noted artist Robert Florczak gather after the book signing.
Writer, producer, and actor Steve Hayes, author of GOOGIE'S: COFFEE SHOP TO THE STARS (Bear Manor Media, 2008), took the podium next to reminisce about his association with Flynn, which included a month-long stay as a houseguest at Mulholland Farm.
A book-signing session for ERROL FLYNN SLEPT HERE and GOOGIE'S followed the presentations. Notables in attendance included author and filmmaker Kenneth Anger, Errol's daughter Rory Flynn, artist Robert Florczak, and independent filmmaker Jack Marino.

Paladin releases the coffee-table hardcover, ERROL FLYNN SLEPT HERE, which includes new interviews and information along with 207 photographs in color and black and white, most previously unpublished.
In Hollywood, Paladin announces a new venture, publication of books related to various aspects of U.S. history and popular culture, to begin with the hardcover, ERROL FLYNN SLEPT HERE, scheduled for release in early 2009.
